Unemployment Insurance (UI) Poster: Fill In the Fields Employers Forget
New York’s Unemployment Insurance poster (Form IA 133) must include three employer-specific details:
- legal business name
- Address
- Employer Registration Number
Leaving any of these blank can create issues during an audit because the poster is considered incomplete. The state updates the fill-in format periodically, including layout and field placement changes.
We ship the latest version; you fill the 3 fields and post.
State vs. City: NYC Sick and Safe Leave Notice If You Operate in NYC
New York State requires paid sick leave for all covered workers, but New York City has its own separate Paid Safe and Sick Leave notice. Employers must give this written notice to employees and also post it where workers can easily access it.
The NYC Paid Safe and Sick Leave notice must be updated to reflect major amendments to the Earned Safe and Sick Time Act (ESSTA) effective February 22, 2026, so businesses must use the current version. It must be available in English and in the primary language spoken by at least 5 percent of the workforce.
Workwise NY labor posters include all required state notices. If your business is located in NYC, you must also post the separate NYC Sick and Safe Leave notice. We offer this as an optional add-on so you remain compliant with both state and city rules.
