Most states require certain businesses to display a notice regarding child labor law. In other states, all employers must post a child labor law notice. Meanwhile, employers in states without a specific child labor law notice may post the federal child labor law notice. These notices communicate to employees the legal requirements for the employment of minors (under the age of 18) in nonagricultural occupations.
